All the time. They will pretty much do anything to keep the focus on themselves--the focus of being in the light, in the right, being the good, decent, perfect, often mistreated yet still plucky and capable of transcending all of the horridness--you know, that sort of person. Narcissists are awful to be around. They're very good at what they do, just as if they were what they very might well be--a low grade of sociopathic. It's supremely difficult to come out from under one and maybe even impossible to come out unscathed.
