If Allah is great then why does only 20 percent of the world's population believe in Islam?

First of all, "only" 20% of the world is huge. Islam is the second largest religion with 1.3 billion followers and the fastest growing.

However, it isn't the number of Muslims that makes Allah great. Allah says in the Quran (cannot remember the exact aya right now) that one does not do Allah or Islam a favor by converting. Allah also says that even if all men came together with the intention to harm or help Allah, they would not be able to do it.

Allah is great by Himself. He doesn't need any one else to help Him.

Additionally, democracy does not make something great or weak.

If that were the case than China would then become greater than America, simply because they had more people and supporters.

This question is just a silly argument based on a silly premise.
