Answer:

God the Father and Jesus are One in purpose... not the same person. The Father has appointed Jesus the executor of His plan. Jesus "speaks" what the Father wants spoken. And Jesus "performs" what the Father wants done.

When, "...God said, Let there be light..." (Gen.1:3)... it was Jesus who SPOKE it.

"...The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand." (John 3:35)

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me." (John 5:30)

As Jesus stated: "...Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape..." (John 5:37) (meaning the Father). The Eternal Creator God of the Old Testament whose "back parts" Moses saw, and who dealt with the saints and prophets was Jesus Christ... not the Father.

The plan of God is to restore to the earth that branch of God's universal Government that Satan destroyed in the beginning. The Kingdom being prepared requires jobs, offices and positions to be filled, so that when it's ready, the takeover of the earth will be a smooth one. It will be led by Jesus Christ and His brethren, the first generation of the Father's Family... and patrolled by an innumerable army of angels.

During this present time dispensation (from Adam until Jesus returns), the Father is "GIVING" those whom He is choosing to Jesus, for Him to train for the Kingdom's leadership positions the Father needs to fill.

"And this is the Father's will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day." (John 6:39)

"No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him..." (John 6:44).

Jesus said: "In My Father's house are many mansions (chambers, offices, positions): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3)

In The Bible, the Temple is referred to as a "type" of "the Father's house." Jesus cleared the Temple twice with words like: "...make not MY FATHER'S HOUSE an house of merchandise." (John 2:16)

Within the Temple (house) are many chambers and offices of various functions for its smooth operation, with each officeholder having a specific job to perform. So shall it be with the Kingdom of God.

"...I brought them into the House of the Lord, into THE CHAMBER of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by THE CHAMBER of the princes, which was above THE CHAMBER of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door..." (Jer.35:4).

THIS is why only the Father knows when the end will be. It is He who is choosing the candidates for the Kingdom positions (many are called - few will be chosen)... giving them to Jesus to train. He knows how many offices in the Kingdom need filling... and when Jesus recommends the last qualified "applicant" for that last job to His Father - The Father will inform Jesus that it is time to return to earth and establish the Kingdom.

How does Jesus the son of God help us know God the father?

Well, Jesus is God and God is Jesus. It's confusing, I know, but it's the truth. The Trinity: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are one. So if we know Jesus we technically know God the Father too. But if we accept Jesus into our hearts and let the blood he shed on the cross cover us when we die our spirits will go to heaven and we will know Him and see Him.

How long until Jesus comes back?

We just don't know. In fact, Jesus didn't know, only the Father in heaven knows the day and hour of His return. But according to bible prophesies there is very little time left.

What were the words of Jesus Christ during the crucifixion?

This depends on which gospel you choose to follow on the subject. the Gospels According to Matthew, Mark and Luke say that the disciples were not present at the crucifixion - so Jesus said nothing to them from the cross. John's Gospel says that the"disciple whom Jesus loved" was, alone of the disciples, present at the crucifixion. Jesus told the disciple that he must look after Jesus' mother, Mary, as if she were his own.

Who is the founding father of Christianity?

Why does Jesus help you to know God?

Jesus is our great mediator. He stands between us and the Father in Heaven. Jesus tells us in the New Testament that nobody goes to the Father but though Him. That's why at the end of most prayers you will hear these words 'We ask these things in Jesus' name'. That's how we are told to pray, all things through Jesus. So it is through the Son that we know of the Father.
