If people get married for companionship why are same-sex marriages traditionally unacceptable?

Traditional relationships have long since been controled by religious organisations. these organisations count on couples having children to take up their religeon and thus become more properous. Gay couples are generaly wealthier have time to become beter educated and overall are more independent human beings, all traits that the church fears. so they have made these situation unacceptable for their own reasons. It s not hard to get the church to bless a weapon that is able to kill and maim thousans in a single blow, But they find it prety hart to bles the love between two men or women. I find that uanacceptable.
