I think you mean appalling. Someone is shocked by someone else's ethics.
I think "having said that" is a person speaking about themselves. That being said, is referring to someone else having said it, but the phrases can probably be interchanged.
It appears no one could think of phrases pertaining to privacy in the workplace. Privacy is a legal right.
I think professional ethics are limited in capacity as they are useful in the work place and they are enforced by code of conduct and if you are not following them. You can be punished. on the other hand personal ethics are some how what we think its right to do.they are not being enforced by anyone but what you see as right to do may not be neccesarily be right for someone else. They differ from one person to person.

Everyone has a different opinion on who they think is pretty or not. Someone might think someone is really pretty whilst someone else could think the opposite. There is no right or wrong answer.
-If you work in certain fields, such as, with food and are unclean about the work area I would think they could because you are not cleaning up the establishment. -Personal cleanliness, I am unsure about, but I think they could because their employees are example of their business ethics, if someone is really unclean, customers may not want to shop, eat, or do anything in the establishment because they may feel the business is unclean. --I would think the garnishing of wages would just be a threat or warning if someone doesn't clean themself or work area up.
Of course it is! Ethics (Arguably) vary from person to person. An individual believes what they think to be ethical. Ethics are influenced by society as a whole and as that society differs, so does ethics. We may think it's bad to sacrifice people to god as a means of honouring the person, but some tribe in Mongolia might think differently.
i don't think there's a law for that. but after all it's a matter of ethics
