Yes. Ohio has a five hundred mile limit. KY got me eleven hundred miles away
if it,s a felony Ohio should go any where to pick them up ...
ALL states and US possessions honor each other's requests for extradition.
All states extradite to all other states. Some wont extradite on some cases, but they are few and far between. If California asserts that they will extradite/accept the person back (and arrange the transportation), all states will cooperate with the extradition. You can try to run to a handful of other countries, but why not just get it behind you, and turn yourself in.
They have repository agreements for that issue. They all will for criminal issues. The statute of limitations shuts off while you are gone also. Roman Polanski just found that out. It is pointless to run these days. IT makes any issue MUCH worse.
The question does not state WHAT the offense was, but usually, for felony offenses, most states will extradite. All US states and possessions honor each other's requests for extradtition. If you have left AZ, unless you return and surrender, you run the risk of an additional charge of FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.
The price it costs to extradite a person will vary depending on the distance between the two jails. The extradition process could run into the thousands.
Yes. All states extradite from other states. It is federal law that a crime committed in one state be tried in that same state. so say you kill a man in Utah, than run to Nebraska and get picked up on assault an battery charges. you will be tried in Nebraska, than shipped back to Utah for another trial. Your prison term will be decided at your sentencing.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Criminal history checks are run through NCIC and are not to be allowed outside law enforcement and must be for an active criminal investigation. You are not even allowed to run criminal histories and give them to your court, they have to run their own.
A justice criminal is that person who is on the run because he is afraid of facing justice.
they dont have legs so they dont run!?!?!?!?!?!
you dont run oops sorry i dont know
it depends on the class of felony, and the money, the extraditng state has to spend .i know of a person extradited to las Vegas on a misdemenor .on the other hand Ohio wouldn't extradite me on an f4 over 400 miles.and yes distance and severity matters.but i was extradited from Ohio to Texas on a state jail felony. equl. to f5 TEXAS WILL FOLLOW YOU TOU TO THE END OF THE EARTH.I MADE A GOOD RUN BUT I RUN TO SLOW!!.what a ride !!17 days and night in diferrent jails ea. nite . TRANS COR AMERICA.EXTRADITION SPECIALISTS. DIRTY BASTARDS.
Dont panic!..., Dont run away in circles. Dont run toward the hurricane it will kill you!
it goes through the United States of America. (is that what you were wondering?)
