If you are pregnant is it normal for your stomach to be soft above your belly button but hard under your belly button down to your private area?
It would depend upon how far you are into your pregnancy. The uterus will slowly grow in size and that is the hardness that you are feeling. As the uterus grows larger it will move further up into your abdomen and your entire stomach will soon be hard just the same! Good luck!

Answer All women are different. But I'd guess the average women starts to show lower on her belly. Answer \nWhen I first started to "show", it looked like I got a layer of fat over my tummy, hips and waist. Then I started to notice a small bulge very low on my stomach.....which just seems to expa…nd all the time!! As your uterus grows upward, you'll notice higher on your abdomen becoming larger. Answer What some refer to as a "bump" in early pregnancy usually shows under the belly button where the uterus is located. As time goes by and baby grows, you will show in various ways depending on how your baby grows. Some women carry high in late pregnancy, some low. (MORE)

Could you be pregnant if your tummy under your belly button feels weird like heavy and tight and it feels like your starving but its not in you stomach its more near your uterus area?
TAKE A TEST IF YOU THINK YOU ARE PREGNANT :)THAT WILL TELL YOU IF YOU ARE, NOT SYMPTOMS :) Answer Could you be? Sure. Are those reliable signs? Not really. Yes, many women feel much hungrier when they are pregnant. My appetite increased in my first trimester in both my pregnancies. And there was …a "different" feeling in my tummy. But those feelings could be signs of many other things, or they could be unexplainable. You can't really know until you miss your period and then have a urine and/or blood test to confirm. Answer No this isn't pregnancy related. (MORE)
Belly button pain can begin in the third trimester due to growth of the abdomen, it is not a sign of or symptom of pregnancy.
Depending on how far along you are, the height of your uterus might be above your belly button. Just wait until it is sitting under your ribcage!
According to my midwife, it is normal for your uterus to come up to about an inch or two below your belly button at this point in pregnancy. Around 20 weeks, it should reach, or almost reach, your belly button.
The belly button is the spot on the body where the umbilical cordattached in the womb. In pregnant woman the belly button starts topop out as a woman gets later in her pregnancy.
Well obviously you havent missed a period. I thought all of this too but i am now pregnant and know a lot more. No, just because it is hard around there doesnt mean you could be pregnant. It is more likely your muscles. When you first become pregnant, by the 4th week the only thing that is hard is a… little spot right above your pubic bone. (MORE)
yes you can but while your giving birth its going to be painful with the ring and may have to rethatch the ring again.
yes you should be concerned wth just a lump above your belly button. so go to the doctor and get it looked at.
Most piercings are pierced with a 16 gauge needle, but if you want to stretch it, I wouldn't go any larger than a 10.
There really is no symbolic meaning to a tattoo under the bellybutton. In order to determine the symbolism, the kind of tattoo anddesign must be known.
This could be an unbilical hernia but it is a good idea to ask your doctor as the cause could be any number of other things
Attempting to reduce fat in just one part of your body at a time islikely to be disappointing. Fat reduction works like this: When you try to lose fat, thereduction occurs all throughout your body. Unlike muscle-building,it cannot be specifically targeted to one region. Also, thereduction in fat wi…ll not be quickly apparent because it will notbe focused on only one spot on your body. So it's helpful to have a"slowly but surely" attitude. Note that exercises mostly serve to tone the muscle underneath thefat. But if you want to slim down, the fat has to be burned off.For that, the main thing is to ditch the junk food and thesweetened drinks. Exercise alone might not be sufficient. Here's a program for the period in which you want to loseweight: Plenty of moderate aerobic exercise, no sweetened liquids at all,and no junk food at all. Preferably no sugar, and as little addedsalt and processed foods as possible. Eat 3 small-portionedmeals/day; do not skip breakfast; and avoid snacks. Limit yourcalories (better to consult a doctor or nutritionist concerning theamount), and weigh yourself 2-3 times/week. Ignore the sensation ofhunger. If you see your weight diminishing at a safe, reasonablerate (1-2 pounds/week), keep it up. Once you've reached your target weight, increase your calorieintake somewhat. And you can then have small amounts of sweetenedfoods or junk food on occasion (if at all), along with your regularfoods (not instead of them). But keep checking your weight 2-3times/week. Avoid crash diets, diet pills etc. Avoid fatty cuts of meat. Walkas much as possible. Bicycling and swimming are good too. More guidelines: Don't concentrate on specific foods so much as on a balanced, healthy diet plus exercise. Plenty of moderate exercise rather thanintense exercise, which can damage your joints. Good nutrition means eating what your body needs, while ingestingas few harmful things as possible. It has also been described asgetting enough of each of the major food categories (grains, fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, etc.; plus plenty of water). This will vary somewhat from one person to another; and I don'tbelieve that there's any universal diet that can be prescribed foreveryone. Avoid best-sellers with their perennial fad diets. Andthink twice before using any dietary supplements or weight-losspills. In general, one's starting point can be a menu of whole grains,whole-wheat bread, a good amount of vegetables, some fruits andnuts, fish, lean meats (in not-large amounts), and some dairy. However, this must be tweaked according to one's health, weight andother factors at the outset; and also adjusted over time, as onesees what works for him/her in particular. At seven months most women have all sorts of different aches and pains! You will need to be more specific about what the pain is. Is it your skin stretching? Or is it like a burn? You have to remember that as your pregnancy progresses your stomach is being pushed upwards and all your internal organs… moved. Your stomach is probably around this area. Is the pain coming from your baby, or the other organs? To find the top of your uterus, lie on your back and push (quite firmly) and your should be able to feel the baby's head or bottom or shoulder. Your stomach muscles are also under a lot of strain. I guess you need to work out if the pain comes at a certain time (after you have eaten, when you are tired, when you have been standing too long). If you have any bleeding, go straight to a doctor! If you are worried about it being a contraction, remember that contractions "move" across your body - they may start in your stomach but ripple around to your back. (MORE)
When the baby's done!. No, it doesn't always happen.. There is no way to predict whether or not your belly button will pop out pregnancy to pregnancy and is mostly related to the position of your baby. Some women are quite annoyed by this and will even tape their belly button flat to their pregnan…t bellies. It is helpful to know that your belly button popping out can be normal and is not harmful to you or your baby. (MORE)
A private part is any part that would normally be covered by clothing. So Yes is your answer.
The stomach and heart/lungs.... This person who previouslyanswered this question with just those 3 things also forgot somemajor organs... Pancreas, Liver, Upper Intestines, Lower Intestines(the L.I. are right behind the belly button)

No, it doesn't. The only reason it would stick out is if your belly button stuck out orginally.
No it is not. If that is the case you need to have it investigated.
I could be wrong but both times during my pregnancy in my first trimesters I seen my belly button move while sitting on the toilet.
\nyes, it's very normal. Just clean it regulary -- don't over-clean since that can lead to infection. but puss around it should minimize or go away complelty in a few weeks
When you get pregnant, most care providers recommend removing your belly button ring. Even women who don't remove their rings report that belly button rings itch and pull as the belly stretches around the fifth or sixth month. There is also the risk of infection if the belly button ring scratches yo…u or opens a small wound. If you do take out your belly button ring, the piercing hole will probably close, requiring you to re-pierce your belly button after having your baby.. However, if you don't want to take out your belly button ring you may want to purchase a non-metal pregnancy piercing ring. These are flexible and two inches long to accommodate your growing belly. Pregnant women claim that this product allows them to keep their bellies pierced without the discomfort of other belly button piercing. (MORE)
The belly button has two forces working on it when your pregnant. The baby is pushing it outward as it grows, and the skin is pulling it outward as it stretches across the swelling belly. Mine popped out 4 months into my pregnancy. It is 2 years after delivery and it still did not go all the way bac…k in. (MORE)
really that's not enough to go on you need tests and to ssee your doctor!!!
It will probably hurt after a while... Taking it out is probably the best option, you can always get it re-pierced later on.
Not if that was where all of it went. but if you'd been inside of her first - then sure. There's usually a small leak before the big load, and that leak can be enough to knock someone up.
I have it too so I asked my Mom what it was and she told me, It's line from when you were a baby. Cause when your in your Mother's stomach your curled up into a ball and your stomach fold so after a while it creates a mark, which caused the line. Well I hope that answered your question for you. Don'…t worry alot of people have it. I wouldn't recommend changing it, there's no way. Just focus on what else you have from your smile to your personality :) (MORE)

Should i have Pain above the belly button during pregnancy i am about 5 months pregnant. is this normal?
That could most likely just be the stretching of your stomach and you aren't used to the feel of that
well it could be a swolen lymph node. but you can move them around. a fatty build up could be posible. i dont realy no....
In yamatji way it means when your pregnant Itz a boy and a line goin further up its a girl
Feels like your ribs are expanding and you have pain in lower stomach and around belly button area are you pregnant?
The easiest way to tell if you're pregnant before you use a test kit is that your breasts get larger and sorer, you get cramps regulary around your lower abdomen and you miss your period.
You could be allergic to the nickel in the belt buckle, or the button of your jeans if that lands there.
This is because the womb (and baby inside the womb) is putting pressure on the mothers abdomen. This pressure causes organs and the belly button as well to push forward causing the belly button to temporarily be an "outtie". Think of it like blowing up a balloon. When the balloon is completely full …of air, the tip of it has a little "bump" on it because of the air pressure inside the balloon pushing it out. (MORE)
I am pregnant and was wondering if it was normal for your belly button to shift because my belly button is no longer in the center and I was not sure that was normal has anyone ever had this happen?
When your belly button is no longer anatomically lined in the center it usually has to do w/ mis-alignment in the spine or hips. get your back checked out. Your body adjusts and re- adjusts so much during pregnancy to accommodate the baby. Prenatal massages, yoga and pilates will help a lot during p…regnancy...but other than that...there won't be much else you will be able to do until after pregnancy. (MORE)
Sex and sexual desires are extremely personal and specific to each individual. There is nothing wrong with your desires, but if you intend to act out your fantasies with a partner, you should be sure that he/she is comfortable with it beforehand.
Pressure will be building up around it and causing pain as the baby grows, to stop this it is best to get a belly bar with a plastic bar as it it will bend. I f the pain doesn't stop it is advisable to take it out.
Because when the cord is cut when you are first born the scare tissue becomes hard and there fore when you press down on it, it feels hard
Probably not, it might be infected you might have to go get that checked out.
Do you mean a little bump? About the size of a typical stud? Flesh-coloured and soft? Not painful? If so, then yes! It'll go away on it's own, I got one when I had my nose pierced. If youre worried about it just go back and have your piercer check it out!
No. Some women have that anyway and sometimes because they have a hairline there that shows with darker skin even when shaved off. It just gets really dark due to hormones when pregnant. It is not something you should take as a sign of pregnancy. Take a test instead.
It may not be natural or normal. Some people think it's weird some people think there's nothing wrong with that. As far as I'm concerned it can't be worse than playing with your penis or your vagina. I think if you want to play with your belly button it's your own business. Some people think you sho…uld see a therapist if you play with your belly button but it's not true. The therapist will tell you that playing with your belly button can't be worse than masturbating or self-orgasm. (MORE)
