If you didn't know whether you were pregnant or not and your period feels odd with headache and nausea and a lot of tissue how do you know it's not a miscarriage?

Other than for obvious reasons, why would you think you were pregnant? Did you miss a couple of periods before? From experience and being that I have never been pregnant, I know that a headache, nausea, and a lot of tissue loss during a period can just be that you are clotting more than usual this month. Though it sounds that you are very worried about the situation and since you have been sexually active, I would recommend that you go see your doctor or visit the nearest planned parenthood for further direction.
