If you have feelings for a girl who decides after she dates you that she wants to be friends is it stupid to wait for her while she dates other guys?

If you really love that girl, have you told here how you felt? Hinted at it, perhaps? Tried to please her? If you think she's worth the wait, even if she isn't likely to go for you, then wait. Well she is either no longer attracted to you or you failed to make a move and made her to comfortable. The only way to gain attraction back is to date other women.

If she's not dating YOU anymore, then yes. Especially if she said that she wants to be "just friends", or "friends instead". If she said "friends for now" you still have a chance, though of course you shouldn't be just WAITING. Date her, get to know her better.

actually that is completely normal^^ it's not weird in any way, although you will learn to let go and move on later in life during the first few relation ships you have you won't want to let go, being able to say yes to being friends is a big stage in your relationship and a very good stage at that, this girl you like must be very nice for you to still like her...it is hard I will guarentee you that and I know how you feel, sometimes things become good again and people get back together in this situation but don't get too excited sometimes it's best to just stay friends. but it's definatley not weird AT ALL! it's completely normal and I hope for the best for you!

It all depends on how much of a connection you have. If she's worth waiting for than wait for a while...Im actually in that situation right now im the girl and there's this guy who i had a thing with all summer and we dated but i broke up with him not cause i didnt like him but cause i realized i wasnt over my ex. I realized it wouldn't be fair of me to keep going out with him RIGHT NOW im not saying ill never give him another chance. This girl is just probably seeing what else is out there. My suggestion: If I told a guy I just wanted to be friends it could mean two things: 1) I was no longer interested in him as a boyfriend but still wanted to remain on good terms. or 2) I'm unsure if I want this relationship and need some time apart to think things through.

For a chance at reconnecting with her and to speed things up for you, I would encourage you to casually date other women. She needs to know if she wants you she better get you while she has the opportunity. Don't show her, or let her know that you're patiently waiting for her or she will take advantage of the situation and mingle with her other friends longer. K.M.

I don't think it's stupid. But remember you have to move on with your life. If you really like her, don't let go of the feelings. If you know this is real for you, and legitimate, don't give up. Still remain good friends with her, you know keep close. I know I'm going to have to wait on this guy I like. I'll still be good friends with him, he's not ready for a relationship which I respect that. But my feelings for him won't just disappear in thin air. Enjoy your life. If she dates other guys, just let her date.

Because after she kisses all those "princes" she might realize your the real deal the whole time. If your up for it you should date too. Just give it time you know. She might just be trying to figure out her feelings. So let it take it's course. Don't wait for her, still keep your feelings for her if they're worth keeping, but still go out and enjoy life.
