Cool air naturally falls to lower points from a higher point. Therefore, It is very sensable to figure the top floor your best vantage point for your one small unit. Be sure to give the cold air a good pathway to fall down the staircase or whatever to lower floors. Nothing is gonna do you much good if you put it somewhere then close the door. Hope this helps: Jimiwane
When it's running hot you should hear the cooling fan running, if not that is your problem. If the cooling fan does not operate check the fuses, cooling fan relay, cooling fan switch and cooling fan motor. One of them is at fault.
A good oil based primer, then an oil based concrete paint.
maria is making a scale drawing of her basement which is 12 yards long If she lets half inch represent 1 yard how many inches long should she makes the drawing?
Sounds like your cooling fan relay is shot. Ron J.
An air conditioner should fit into that category.
There are quite a few reasons why an air conditioner could be running but not cooling. One should first check the Freon lines and ensure that there is an adequate amount of Freon available.
Residential=1ton/600Sqft. not including basement Commercial=1 ton/350Sqft
It is important to keep the air conditioner clean and know how to remove mold as it can reduce the efficiency of the air conditioner and also cause a foul smell . You should clean the condenser and the indoor unit.
Never, unless you suspect of not cooling then there is a leak somewhere. A repair will need to be performed before recharging.
Yes, this way the ac does not have to run your bill up to cool areas that do not need it. However, if it is humid and wet in the basement, you should run the air conditioner periodically to recirculate the air and reduce the amount of humidity down there.
We had a hole in the cooling line(?) that was fixed and the system recharged in our 2000 Sable and the air conditioner works great now.
You should send the cool air wherever it will do the most good.
During a hurricane you should not go to a basement, even if you can easily get to one. The greatest danger in a hurricane is flooding, and going underground increases your chances of drowning, The best place to be is in a bathroom or closet away from windows. If you have a second floor in your house you should be prepared to go to the second floor if water enters your home.
It all depends on what type of heating and cooling system you are looking for. You can go to www.bryant.com to get a general idea for getting heating and cooling systems, but a local company may be cheaper. You should also consider maybe an air conditioner and a space heater for the super cheap way.
i have a Z24. dont have that problem but i would say your cooling system should be flushed out..your engine is working to hard to run the compresser..hope it helps steve
Not really, the fan should circulate the air around quite well, and everyone knows that hot air rises.
No, it's not your fault. It's just running too much. Often this can happen due to the level of refrigerant in the air conditioner being too low, perhaps due to a small leak. The air conditioner should be checked out by a reliable cooling repair person.
