Zambia along with other South African Countries agreed in turn these colonies loaned billion of dollars. However Zambia had to pay this money back with interest much like a bank loan and many of their resources had been stripped by these british colonies who sold things such as copper to thriving nations. In the end Zambia owed billions of dollars, had few trained workers, and little resources.
