Hindus value all life forms, and respect the rights of all creatures. Instead of using and abusing animals, by slaughtering and consuming them, Hindus are compassionate, and are aware of the importance to live and let live. All Hindus do not touch beef, as it is Krishna's holy cow, the 'kaamdhenu', sacred and worshiped. Most Hindus afford the same treatment to most animals.
There aren't any similarities as Hindus are cremated, while many Christians are buried. They only time when Hindus are cremated if the dead person is a child or a sage. Anyway, the prayers, the people who conduct the funeral are also different.
Only Hindus are allowed in Guruvayooru Temple. It is Lord Krishna Temple located in Kerala, India. And Temple of Lord Shiva (Jyotirlingam) at Trambakeshwar (Lord Trambak Temple) in Nasik District of Maharashtra State. Non-Hindus are also not allowed to get in The Lord Sri Jagannath temple in Puri. In the Balaji temple Tirupati, Andha Pradesh non-Hindus are not allowed, But is some one write in their book that he/she believes on Hindu God Balaji then he can entered.
Hindus are usually not buried. In the Hindu religion, fire is considered a sacred gateway to the spiritual world. Cremation of the body has to occur and within six hours of the person's death. -------------- However, little children and sannyasis are buried in Hindu burial grounds. The belief is that cremation is a form of detachment from the material body (since it is burnt down the soul wont have any attachment to it and hence can be freed). But, for children, since they have not lived long enough, the soul has not developed an attachment yet and for sannyasis, they have already detached themselves.
