Behr thinks so, I believe they are correct.
I've used both. Try a blind paint test. Pour out some Behr Premium Plus Ultra and some Sherwin Williams Duration. Have someone roll both on a white primed piece of drywall. Watch the coverage. It's visually distinct. Behr wins hands down. Now try Behr Premium Plus and Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200. Now you really see the difference.
I've used both on my rental properties. Behr allows me to save money and time. Fewer coats are needed. The pealing exterior window frames cover well with Ultra paint and primer in 1. The paint shell that follows after drying is hard and durable. So far one winter shows no sign of degrade, fading or discoloration.
Home Depot's pricing .is remarkable less than the Sherwin Williams. Unless I receive some stimulus to buy other paint- Behr is all I will buy
Answer is yes.But you have to consider the fact that Glidden is junk,Behr is in the middle, and best is Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore. The second one is expensive,so my professional choice would be Sherwin-Williams.
Glidden, Sherwin Williams, & Benjamin Moore all make varying qualities of paint. You can go to these stores & spend anywhere form $10.00 to $55.00 per gallon, depending on the quality that you want. Behr makes only premium quality paint that will run you $20.00 to $35.00 depending if you want built in primer. I have found the best paint for my money is Behr.
Previous answer was "No, Behr is home depot. It sucks"
No is a factual answer followed by an opinion. Paint dries; it doesn't suck.
I think it's decent paint, and yes, it's sold at Home Depot...and so are a lot of other things.
No, its not sold at HD.
It far exceeds it. Benjamin Moore is made to meet quality points, while Behr is made to meet price points.
no ... faded in less then 2yrs. on our fire dept. never buy again...
Behr paint is a good brand to use for painting. The consistency and color will last a very long time and will get you the results you need for your project.
Behr is the strongest
