Oh my god, have you been reading my old books? Forget COBOL learn C++. What is this a nostagia in old computer languages. Next, I'll be answering questions about Fortran. Learn Linux while you're at it, it's a throwback to Unix and does anybody remember BASIC? or should we just go back to the Dead Sea Scrolls?

Yes. Any computer language that can be translated (compiled or interpreted) into a lower machine-level instructions (assembly or machine codes for example) is considered to be a high level programming language
