Fortunately or unfortunately it is true that Indian culture nowadays is submerged with western culture. The Indian culture has its root at the ancient Vedic age. Invasions by external forces several times tried to disrupt the 1000 year old culture in vain. After the Union Jack flag was hoisted at Delhi and we were under British empire for 200 years, there was a breach in Indian culture and educated youths had a tendency to copy the British etiquettes, even conversion to Christianity took place. Everything western was good, and swadeshi culture was inferior. After attaining independence, we had a pro-western look,we would bend over imported goods like a greedy person. As a result,Western culture in the form of cinema got entrance in our culture. After the liberalization of economy in 1992,Indian markets are flooded with imported goods, even a dance sequence of a Bollywood film is taken at Switzerland or U.S.A. I may reiterate here that western culture has lit up the darker side of our society, specially we have now dared to overlook so many primitive customs that were prevalent in our society. On the contrary, western culture has made the younger generation adamant, and the basic concept of joint family has almost been destroyed and the concept of nucleus family has come to reign in.

They don't enough knowledge that why we celebrate these festival.but in our indian people celebrate every festival with joy & happiness.in western culture we can see more cases of divorce and in western culture people don't respect their parents & love family.they drink of our family.is it western culture? In our indian culture people very well know to respect their parents & elders.

Yes Western culture has the ability to affect Indian culture greatly, and I think most Indians will agree that Western influence has become more prominent in India in the last few decades. One of the main ways that Indian culture is influenced by the West is through media such as television shows, movies, social media, music videos and more. Because western media, especially American media, is so influential, it is hard to imagine Western influence into India slowing down anytime soon. Western culture, through media alone, has been vital in influencing the dressing styles, values, beliefs and language of Indian culture in recent years.
the western culture effects the children in the east by changing their culture from the traditional followed in India to the pop culture of the western world this isn't appreciated by most elders
All cultures change both with time, technology, social development, social changes positive and negative, even climate change. No culture is static. Culture is also much more varied than the question suggests. There is no one homogeneous, all the same, Indian culture anymore than there is one Western culture. The "Indian" culture and for that matter the "Western" culture, has already "survived" or been created by interactions with hundreds, even thousands of cultures. Some of those interacting cultures had very active campaigns to change, oppress, even destroy Western and Indian cultures with varying degrees of success. At the beginning of the 21st century a more suitable question might be about the loss of Western cultures. Some of the most vulnerable cultures are Western cultures in no part due to low birth rates and global movement of all peoples. Indian culture on the other hand has more members and a higher birth rate and has just started it's global migration. The cultures most likely to be recognizable in the following centuries are those from Asia though I'm pretty sure they are not going to be the same cultures we have today and some will, like many Western cultures, be history.
