Hell no, Ron Paul is a LIBERTARIAN which is a far cry from a liberal he is a strict "Constitutionalists"in favor of small government, sound fiscal policy, and non intervention unless in immanent danger.

Ron Paul is currently (was in the past (2008)) a Republican congressmen from Texas. He ran as a Republican in the Republican primary. In the process he raised millions of dollars, having overwhelming turn outs at his national speaking engagements. Ron Paul often ostracized for his "conservative" values believing the constitution is important, the government is in violation of our civil rights, and the constitution should be followed and honored The Republican party confused this with "crazy talk" and often poked fun at Ron Paul. Ron Paul did not win the 2008 Republican primaries but kept his congressional seat. Ron Paul supports limited government, removal of the IRS, limited to no federal taxes. Disassembling of the federal reserve as they are a private illegal institution, gun rights, as well as states rights.

Ron Paul?
Senator Ron Paul, candidate for President, is a physician, as are a number of other prominent politicians.
I think you mean Ron Paul. There apparently is a Ron Pahl, he's a professor and author, but not a political candidate. Ron Paul is a Republican congressman from Texas who campaigned to be the Republican nominee for the 2008 presidential election, losing to John McCain. He still has a fervent fanbase, and is notable for his libertarian policies which were at odds with most of the other candidates. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul
Ron Paul doesn't really have a chance to win in 2012. He is still running although he has stopped campaigning. Mitt Romney is truly the Republican Candidate. This is purely a race between Obama and Romney.
Businessman and Television Host Donald Trump is not at all pursuing the presidency for 2012, he is simply dabbling in the Presidential race by "considering" to run as an independent earlier this year, meeting up will almost all of the Republican Presidential candidates, and agreeing to host one of the Republican Presidential debates only to attract publicity to himself and his show The Apprentice. Although Congressman Ron Paul is a very centrist candidate (socially liberal, economically conservative) he would NEVER consider running with Donald Trump. Paul and Trump agree on very few issues, and their relationship was publicized when Ron Paul announced that he would not attend the Republican debate hosted by Donald Trump, to which Trump responded that Paul was not a "real" candidate and had no chance of winning the election. Ron Paul responded to Trump's criticism with predictions of the debate as being "a clown show" since Trump has practically endorsed Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich.
Ron Paul is a devout Christian.
Ron Paul will never be president.
Ron Paul was born on August 20, 1935.

The military is actually one of his largest supporters. He has more donations from the military than any other candidate, including McCain.
As of 1/1/2010 Ron Paul is not a Freemason, but his father (Howard Paul) is a Freemason.
