Yes a SD Card is the same as a SIM Card because they both hold memory and back in 2008 - 2010 they used SIM Cards without a SIM Card the phones could not hold memory. Now of days (2010 - 2012) we use SD Cards for holding memory iin our smart phones.
A SIM card contains your phone number as assigned by your network. The memory card is used for saving images, music, etc
No, a sim card activates your phone and holds the phone number. A memory card is used to hold music, pictures, download, texts, apps, and anything else that is added to the phone.
No - a SIM card has information pre-programmed into it - such as the phone's number. A 'standard' memory card does not hold this information (and is also the wrong shape !)

It probably has to do with your graphic card in your computer. Same thing is happening to me.
No Sims 2 is a CD and Sims 2 castaway has another and even if you have it on your memory card
To make a new game it has to be on a memory card that doesn't have a Sims 2 Pets profile on it. If you try it on a memory card that already has a Pets profile it ovewrites it.
You can - provided either the new phone is unlocked (not tied to a specific network) or both phones are on the same network.
Some gust aren't compatible I Have the same problem. Sims games and wii games ( like wii sports and wii play) do but guitar hero, Mario cart, and lots of others wont.
Any sims game is the same as the original sims game, just more advanced, example:sims 1 compared to sims 3 One thing I don't get is the sims games on the Wii like My sims. Have know Idea what it's like I've never been on the sims 3 but the sims 2 is ALOT better than sims 1, alot more to offer, better graphics and overall funner!- xxx..L..xxx
The Sims 1, 2, 3. Sim City, Zoo Tycoon ( same thing but with animals ) and The Sims Social ( Facebook app )
You probably don't have a good enough video card to support all the new graphics. This same thing happens to me. But again, it could be a bug.
Unfourtunatley there is no such thing as Sims Online because The Sims requires a download and in order to download it you'd have to purchase it from a store because it also requires a CD & a bar code.
It might be because your computer does not have enough memory or video card space to run it properly. Or, your pushing a button on your keyboard. :) You might just want to see how much memory your sims 3 game takes up, and how much your computer has. Hope this helps. Happy Simming :)
