yes, because i love helping sick animals live and get well and i also love animals. I'm only 8 years old and I'm studying animals right know so that when i grow up i would know a lot about animals and my tests will be easy if i study now. i really want to be a vet when i grow up! PS. my favorite animal is a dog if you want to be a vet when you grow up you should study now so your tests will be easy.
I'm not a vet, but i am a Chemistry student for medicine. And to me it all comes down to making sure that you go to school for what you want to do. If you love animals, and you think you can spend hours working on them; then you should try it. don't forget that not everything is good, you are going to have to put animals down, you are going have to watch them die. But it's just like general medicine, you can help your patient and watch others die. One thing that you need to ask your self is are you willing to go to school for as many years as it takes to work with animals? because just like with medicine you are either going to have to get a degree in chemistry or animal science. My recommendation is follow your instincts and don't go to school 10 years and then figure out that you don't like it.
yes they get good pay
actually, it's not just about the money, yeah they pay amazinly but if taking care of animals isn't your thing then don't do take a job like that.
Lol yes i would like to be a Vet and so does my friend >.<
Yes you do acculy you get about $75,000
I am not a vet but when this happened to my cat her anal glands were infected. Not fun.
Becoming a vet is pretty cool. You get to work with animals all the time. 5/10 times it can be hell with the animals but if they listen it can be fun.

mad cow? time to call a vet? if this is a fun question, then good luck finding a farmer if this is a REAL question, call the vet asap.
I a no vet but they do sometimes and at other times they don't it is sad to have to see them or put them to sleep
There are fun parts of vet school, including socializing with classmates and learning interesting and useful skills. There are also some very not fun parts, including the exams, the stress of your first live surgery, working on animals you don't want to treat in practice, etc. Like most career paths, if the fun/good/exciting outweighs the bad/boring/stressful, you'll mostly remember it as being fun.
A big animal vet is called a large animal vet, a rural vet or a farm vet
If your dog is acting "depressed" and is usually active, its probably sick and you should take it to a vet
