A bachelor's degree is received after 4 years (or so) of college. If you continue with college you can receive a master's degree (I believe its about 30 extra credits). You can continue with coarses and receive your doctoral degree and I'm not positive, but I think its 60 or 90 extra credits. The doctoral degree is higher.
Yes, a doctoral degree is higher than a bachelor degree. A doctorate requires additional years of school in a specified area of study along with a thesis you will have to write and defend.
Bachelors (B.S. or B.A.), Masters (M.S. or M.A.), then Doctorate (Ph.D).
The doctorate is higher.
A doctorate is a Ph.D
Yes it is. It's a doctorate which typically follows the bachelor's and master's degree. Some programs allow entrance directly after the bachelor's degree, and this is one of them.
It is the same thing....a PhD is a doctorate
I would not say one is greater than the other. Each serve a purpose. However, a bachelor's degree is a higher level degree. Typically, from lowest level to highest level the order would be as indicated below. * Associate's degree * Bachelor's degree * Master's degree * Doctorate degree
No, the associate and bachelor degrees are undergraduate degrees. The master's and doctorate are graduate degrees.
Yes it is. M.F.A. stands for Master in Fine arts while B.A. stands for Bachelor of Art. You must earn a Bachelor's degree before obtaining a Master's degree.
No. An MBA is a Master's of Buisness Administration, which is higher than a Bachelor's degree, which is higher than and Associate's degree.
In terms of the level of education, the programs are listed as follows. * certificate * diploma * associate degree * bachelor's degree * maser's degree * bachelor's degree * doctorate (highest level of educational attainment) This does not mean that any of the above are less significant than the others it's just that each has it's own purpose.
* associate's degree * bachelor's degree * Master's degree * first professional degree * doctorate degree (highest level of educational attainment)
An Associate's degree is the lowest rung in the academic ladder. Next comes a Bachelor's degree, then a Master's, the a Doctorate, and then a Post-Doctorate. A Doctorate is a much more reputable degree than a Masters. A Master's degree merits no special title. Once you've gotten a Doctorate, you officially receive the title "Doctor..."
The doctorate is the highest level of educational attainment. There are individuals who do post doctoral work - mostly research and not a degree program - however within the US there is no higher degree than the doctorate.
Yes, it is. The master's is advanced study after completion of the bachelor's degree, same as in the United States.
