I need an inner ear transplant. My cochlea was destroyed. I had an ear infection that was never diagnosed correctly. I never recieved the proper medication for it. I was diagnosed with bacterial. My actual illness I had was viral labyrintitus. It’s not right at all. The drs. I had did not sit down with me to properly diagnose my illness. If their is a surgeon that can do this, please contact me.

∙ 13y agoYes. I had a total inner-ear live donor transplant in 1984 which included the eardrum, cochlea, and the three hearing bones. The ENT Doctor Who performed this operation which, at the time, was groundbreaking was Dr. Luis Rosell (retired and not sure if he is still with us).

Why It is not possible to transplant gallbladder without liver transplant?
The gallbladder is not essential - you can live without it quite easily (like your appendix). So it is never transplanted since it is not necessary. And when having a liver transplant, the gallbladder (both the original and the transplanted) are removed. Nobody with a liver transplant has a gall-bladder.
