I was a teacher for 30 years, and don't think so. Letter grades express the degree to which you have grasped the subject. Pass/Fail expresses whether or not you have grasped the basics of the subject.

A special class day class also called a SDC class is a special education classroom where students spend all or part of their day receiving special education services.
