For what it's worth, they seem too be a little bit too cheap (imo) and none of the auto stores carry them- a red flag for me. I think they may be recycling. I considered one at one time but was a little wary of them. I would steer clear of maintenance free whatever you do buy (tend to last longer) and buy one in your group size/post arrangment and type with the most CCA rating (cold cranking amps) you can get/afford. shop around and also advise not to order by mail-many sell them on Ebay etc but they have to ship dry, not worth it.
The Interstate Batteries are probably the best.

Yes, as long as you get the right battery so that it is an identical fit. Either get a BMW battery, or an Interstate MPT-H6. You will have to plug one of the vents on the interstate battery, and use the vent hose from your original BMW battery.
