No, In fact many people have though of this due to his weird movements and his silence. Buckethead (brian) has nothing wrong with him medically known of to the public and is just an extremely talented guitarist, who hides his identity to avoid publicity quote " its about the music , not the person behind it".

There are many musicians that do not use drugs. In fact, musicians that use drugs often times do not have very long careers. Musicians have to keep very long schedules and work many hours and producers have no tolerance for irresponsible people.

the above answer is SO not true.. many musicians smoke pot, drink alcohol, and on occasion other drugs. The Rolling Stones one of the oldest bands on earth are Very high on drugs. Aerosmith, Snoop Dogg, P Diddy... all use plenty of drugs..

mentally challanged? no he seems to be a shy person, amazing guitar player though, but he just recovered from an injury is what his friend Bootsie Collins said so he should be back in a few months touring. he did however release a set of cds called, "Best Regards" which is on five colored discs. the whole set is $75 but is well worth it for a true Buckethead fan.
