The fact that you use Christian and Gay in the same sentence means that you don't understand what Carmen believes in. Rather than asking and answering ugly things about him, you should listen to his music - mostly done in the 80's and 90's. He cares deeply about American youth and pretty much spent everything he made to make the message of Jesus Christ relevant to the youth of the day. If you understood the amazing love that God has for you, you could see it in the work of people like Carmen. I want to yell at you to defend Carmen, but really God can defend His own. Instead I wish you the best and encourage you to listen to one of Carmen's albums.

I don't know who you are, but the answer above is so full of vitriol, bile and hatred, it's hard to believe that you are a Christian. Your judgmental attitude and the way you condescend to this person asking the question is completely against the teachings of Christ. You told the questioner, "if you understood the amazing love that God has for you..." and it makes me wonder if YOU know the amazing love of God, because when you truly know/experience God's love (which is unconditional) then you begin to exhibit that love, yourself. Christ gave us 2 "new" commandments, both of which dealt with love.

I urge you to reconnect with God's love and share that love with everyone you connect with, instead of responding with sarcasm, negativity and calling of names.
