So Yes it could be true love, and your first love you will never forget, Even when your 50, you'll still remember him or her.
Like in my case I have been in love 3 times, and True love, I mean I was so unhappy and sad, I miss him like crazy and i could not stop wondering if he was okay while i was away for over a year, once in my life. I am lucky that when i got back he felt the same way about me......
Just know that it maybe your first but it does not have to be last, and enjoy the little things with them

A true love endures the test of time, a first love depends on who is loving who, your love could be true and their love could be a lie, your basically talking about physical attraction and how strong that attraction effects you, the stronger that attraction is, the more you are willing to sacrifice, irregardless the relationship will endure the test of time better if the attraction is mutual, If you have morals and believe in responsibility you will not depart or cast off your first love ( if we are talking about relationships ), however when the love ( feelings ) grow cold and if you are not a responsible person with good morals then you become the one with the untrue love because you will begin to seek another person that will give you those same feelings again which in turn has only created a vicious cycle. A first love can be pointless if the one you love doesn't love you back, it all depends on how far the relationship went, don't be tricked by the meaning of true love because love is still love no matter how strong it's felt ( if were talking about relationships ).
