Flat? Do you mean in a row or staggered (mag)? I don't use actual flats but mags are best for gray shading and blending color, lose rounds are good for uniform flat color.

how can a tattoo be done with a tattoo kit?

Have the design in mind and inks necessary for the pattern. Assemble the tattoo gun according to the instructions provided. Attend to all cautions and warnings, including not having the tattoo equipment near standing water. Be sure not to dull the needle on the plastic tubing as that portion of the machine is put together. Increase power slowly to the gun with the foot pedal, until the needle can freely move against tension. Have the person using the tattoo gun practice on a fruit, if confidence in the skill level is not good.

Half sleeve tattoo ideas?

Choose something with meaning. When I do a tattoo I like my clients to have a tattoo that evokes certain memories or feelings. Also, insist on a good tattoo needle for the detail. I recommend these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bugpin-bug-pins-long-taper-11-curved-mags-round-magnums-tattoo-needles-11cm-11rm-/120811530400?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c20eda8a0

What is the equipment needed for a tattoo artist?

Tattoo supplies are used to create tattoos. Tattoos can be made using a needle and ink, which is injected into the skin by pricking it with the needle. There are many different types of tattoo needles that may be used depending on the desired effect. The most common type of needle is called an autoclave machine or air-driven machine because they both use compressed air to power them. This helps provide more consistent pressure for even better results when creating tattoos.

How can you protect yourself from getting hep b from a tattoo needle?

Make sure the shop you go to has a license, is clean and that they ONLY use disposable needles. If you don't see them pulling out a new, sterile needle each time they start a tattoo, then don't get a tattoo from them. - - - - - You're not likely to get a bloodborne disease from a tattoo needle. If you're going to get one from a tattoo shop, it will come from the ink. Tattoo artists don't like to use old needles, and needles aren't expensive--so, unless you go to someone who tattoos out of his house, you'll get new needles when you get a tattoo. The ink is a different story. It is expensive, and they can't use all of it when they give someone a tattoo. You put ink in a tattoo machine by dipping the tip in the ink and stepping on the footpedal, which causes the needle to pull ink into the reservoir. If you're refilling the machine during a tattoo, there's blood in the machine, which winds up in the ink. Some guys are tempted to put the unused ink back in the bottle. So...if you really want to see how good a shop you're dealing with, go watch them do a tattoo--they'll let you. If they finish the tattoo and immediately throw all the ink caps and excess ink into a biohazard bag, it's a safe shop. If they set the ink caps to the side for later, don't go there.

How much is it to get a tattoo in Florida?

This depends on how complex the tattoo is, the color and placement. The lowest is 60 which is just the needles at 40 then 20 for just the tattoo. Also if the place offers a cheap price for your tattoo you'll get cheated because the artwork will be poor or the artist will put the needle into your skin to far causing holidays. A recommendation of a tattoo pallor in Florida would be Ink Smith & Rogers. Good artists and reasonable prices. The larger your tattoo or the placement can cause the price to go up. So keep that in mind when you think of getting a tattoo.
