Firstly it is given in islam that we are here in world for the purpose of worshipping only one and only god,allah.so it is not good for a muslim to spend hours for just watching tv and talk shows etc.so in short allah has given a very short period of time to a muslim to pray for him so we should spend our most of the time praying and rest of it for the huquq-alibad and then for our worldly matter.
