that is a terrible alternative considering they are both highly concentrated derivatives of thebaine (paramorphine). you dont want something that will just get u off the heroin but will prevent you from using it as well. dont even bother methadone either because it builds up in your system so much that it can make you overdose if its taken improperly. try something like suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone). the buprenorphine will help with the withdrawl and with the cravings while the naloxone is an opiate inverse agonist which will prevent you from using any other opiate for about two to three days after using suboxone
Heroin and morphine are both opiates and are very similar. By taking them at or near the same time, you risk increasing your chances of addiction and overdose. Before taking the morphine, make sure than the heroin has fully kicked in and that your are not sleepy, drooling, nodding out, etc. If so and you take morphine, it could put you into an overdose. Regardless, morphine, heroin, and other opiates (like hydrocodone, oxycodone aka vicodin and oxycontin/perocet) will likely make you into an addict and can be very dangerous. For an addict, they would likely substitute morphine for heroin if they had to, if taken by the same route (orally would be the safest of course!), they have very similar effects. You should seek help if your addicted and you should always be around other people when taking opiates in case you overdose (if some ones not there when you stop breathing, you will probably die)
This is extremely dangerous as when you take methadone it blocks the receptors in your brain that allow people to get high from heroin, so when people take heroin after they have taken methadone they get no extra buzz from the heroin just the negative effects of having heroin in the body, mixing these can result in coma and severe respiratory distress
Also, if you are a recovering addict/infrequent user, then you will have no tolerance to opium. This can result in a dangerous miscalculation and the consequences are deadly. Also avoid benzodiazapines such as rohypnol, valium, clonazepam and temazepam to name a few
These 2 drugs are in the same family and have a similar affect. You should only take these 2 drugs together by advise of your doctor.
Do you think your body can tolerate it? Its up to you.I would be cautious of how much suboxone you take.
No, both drugs have similar effects and the danger is that they can suppress respiration, which means you will just stop breathing and subsequently die.
Yeah go for it!
Not exactly. The narcotic in Percocet (oxycodone) is metabolized into morphine by the liver. Percocet contains no morphine.
I used to take vicodon i really didnt care for it as much as percocet. but, morphine- way better!!
I am surprised by this question since it is a easy one but, Morphine is by far stronger. Percocet is based from Morphine, heroin is also based off of morphine. But they both have different feelings when taken but the morphine of that mg will blow a Percocet 5 away.So basically the Morphine allow stronger.
Oxycontin and Percocet are both oxycodone not morphine or hydromorphone.
Morphine will reduce the withdrawal symotoms, but will do nothing toward detoxing from the percocet, since both are opiates. You will simply go into withdrawal again when the morphine wears off. You need to be detoxed in a medical setting.
percocet, morphine, roxy, she pretty much take opiates of all kind
i take Percocet and morphine, but not daulidid and daulidid is showing up in urine
No, morphine sulfate isn't the same as percocet.. which contains acetaminophen and oxycodone. At equivalent dosage and on a person who never took them before, oxycodone is 2 times more powerful than morphine.
Opana is it's own drug called (oxymorphone) which is a mix of percocet and morphine
There is only one 12 hour pain med on the market, and that's OxyContin. It isn't a combination of Percocet and Morphine - Percocet is a combination of Oxycodone and Tylenol. Oxycodone, like all natural opiate meds, are morphine derivatives. OxyContin is a timed-release version of Oxycodone.
There's no such thing as a 750MG percocet. A 5/500mg percocet has only 5mg of narcotic, and 500mg of Tylenol. The 750mg you are refering to is the amount of Tylenol in the percocet, not the amount of narcotic. However, morphine and percocet can be mixed at low doses. I just want to add that yes there is an es form of percocet called ultracet.
No, Percocet is not oxymorphone. Oxymorphone is a combination of oxycodone and morphine. Percocet is just oxycodone, except for 5's and 10's they also have acetaminophen in them.
