No it wouldn't be fair as long as:
While you might not be happy about your daughter spilling nail polish on your carpet, I would say the only proper punishment for her would be to deduct the cost of having the carpet cleaned from her allowance or, if she has a part-time or full-time job, have her pay directly for having the carpet cleaned.
punish 'em
Most laws are to punish you for driving while not licensed, not specifically for causing accident. That would be a separate issue.
Hester does not punish her daughter, Pearl, in "The Scarlet Letter." Instead, she tries to provide her with love and guidance, despite the challenges they face due to Hester's public shaming and their social isolation. Pearl serves as a reminder of Hester's sin, but Hester does not intentionally punish her.
call the cops. That's assault brotha.
you have to teach her kind but punish her at the right time
a evil queen named Mary got angry at her daughter princess elizabeth and invented a school to punish her
I would just make my daughter delete her myspace; or block it from the computer.
We will punish those responsible. Why must you punish me?
easy one ! :) Acrisius' grandson was sent out to kill him unless he killed his daughter. But the gods would punish you if you killed family.
Because a child will refuse to be cooperative if you punish them and they will begin to be afraid. Learning something new have to be positive or it will turn into a trauma. You can't punish them for an accident and this is not something they are in control of yet. You don't put a 5yo to drive a car and then punish him when he crash. And you don't want a first-grader in diapers who's in therapy trying to get over his potty-training.
Punish.
