If you mean in a sexual way absolutely not!
If you mean sharing a bed until you have fixed her a bed of her own because you just moved in after the divorce it's OK for a night or 2. I would recommend you get a mattress on the floor to sleep on while she's there though. She will need her own space if this will be your new home. A bed of her won is at least what she can expect I think.
you shouldn't sleep with your dad. That is VERY wrong! if your dad wants to sleep with you that's child abuse.
1. errr no! but that's my opinion .. 2. why would a 14 year old want to sleep naked with their father?
No that is not normal
she needs some sleep . now
Yes, there is a movie called "A Boy Called Dad". And there is also a movie on Lifetime that is about a 15 year old fighting for the right to keep his daughter.
Not really. By this age the child should be sleeping on her own in her own bed.
Normally, a Parent would feel more protective of a girl than a boy( since there is a prejudice that boy is much stronger than a girl). However, it is better that the girl starts to get used to her own space rather than sleeping with her father.
No, if you are her guardian (you have custody) then she cannot do that until she is a legal adult.
Why is Daughter living with Father if Mom has custody? I'm wondering why Dad hasn't already petitioned the court for custody. He certainly can do that, and since Daughter is already living with him anyway, he'll likely get it. Basically as long as Daughter lives in Dad's house, he can set any rules he wants to--including the rule of not dating adults. If Daughter refuses to follow Dad's rules, she may find herself being sent back to live with Mom in PA--which would be a long way from Boyfriend.
As long as it's just going to sleep on his bed, and not that other kind of sleeping with her father, it shouldn't be a big deal at all.
8-year-old daughter, Sasha, and Older daughter Malia, 10.
Of course! My 10 year old daughter is playing with my girlfriends 7 year old daughter! They get along great.
