It depends. Check the expiry date on the packaging, if it's expired then definitely don't take them. If it's within the date and has been stored properly, ie out of sunlight, below 25degrees, etc the. It should be fine.

It's not a good idea to take old medicine of any kind, some of it spoils and some doesn't, but it's best to air on the side of caution. I'm wondering why you want to take an 8 year old antibiotic to begin with but don't do it. If you have an infection of some kind go to a doctor and get a fresh prescription.

No. Period end of story. It isn't recommended that you give 12 year olds Advil let alone a 3 year old. It can bring about sexual complications later on in life.
