I would not recommend it. Though, technically, moving air is completely safe, there are delicate parts on a laptop. DO NOT USE BRUSHES, ESPECIALLY ON THE KEYBOARD. If you have a shop vac that would be best.

There are 3 USB ports on the HP Pavillion DV4-1430US, one of which is shared with eSATA.
There is nothing particularly unique about this notebook; any modern Linux distribution should be able to run on it without problems.

Yes. You will need a DVD with a 7.1 mix (Dolby Digital EX). DTS-ES outputs in 7.1, but the 2 rear channels are in mono.
A .dv4 file extension is a video file from a CCTV system. The system is produced by Bosch Security Systems. It is only viewable using the Bosch Security system proprietary viewer called Archive Player. This file uses MPEG4 compression. It can contain more than 1 camera angle. All of the different camera views are contained within the one file. There is at least one known issue with this file. It can be password protected. The password is embedded within the backup video so if you don't have the password...you won't be able to view the video file.
