There is a quotation: "If honey bees died out, mankind would only have four years to live." This is supposedly attributed to Albert Einstein, though it is very unlikely to be his.
However, this doesn't detract from the seriousness of the situation. Roughly four out of every five plants are insect pollinated, and of those nearly 90 per cent are pollinated by bees. If they were lost very many flowers, trees and vegetables would not be pollinated. Without pollination they would not produce seeds or fruit. Roughly one mouthful out of every three of the food you eat is directly attributable to the work of bees. Without bees, the world would be a lot less colourful, and we would have quite a bit less to eat. There would probably be widespread starvation, but I doubt there would be enough to completely kill off the human race.
We wouldn't necessarily starve, but our diet would be much more restricted than it is now. Luckily, grains such as wheat, barley, oats, rice and sweet corn would be unaffected because they are wind pollinated, so we would still have bread, but a lot of fruit, nuts and vegetables are pollinated by bees, so they would become very scarce. They may not die out completely because other insect pollinators may pollinate some of them.
Bees pollinate about 1/3 of our agricultural crops (corn, wheat, etc). Without them, we will not have enough food. It is very important for us humans to understand and appreciate their value, and do what we can to protect them.
One out of every three mouthfuls of food we eat and beverages we drink are directly the result of pollination of crops by bees.
Without bees we might still live, but life would be much more difficult.
Bees are quite important for the pollination of various plants and flowers, but not all fruits require pollination by bees, some are pollinated by bats or the wind and others do not require pollination at all, such as the banana.
It would be a tragic loss for sure, much of the world's beauty would likely vanish and mass extinction might happen, but humans would live on.
If bees totally disappeared, pollination would rapidly decrease. Eventually certain food chains would break down, and many people and other animals would starve. It is likely, however, that some people, other animals and plants would survive. So the loss of bees would not completely eliminate the human species.
we wont have honey and they wont polinate are flowers so all the flowers would die
Many animals can completely devour human. Lions are know to attack humans, and there have been many sightings of lions completely devouring people. This is the Tsavo man-eating lion. It can completely devour a human and mainly hunts humans. Tigers are the biggest cats, and if we lived among them, they would be a top predator. Crocodiles and hippopotamuses chase away and even eat humans. They are determined mothers who protect their nest and kill anyone or anything that comes near it. Of course, none of these animals eat humans as part of their natural diets, but they are still a threat to humans.
Our world has become a planet of animals! if we are animals then none of us would exist! Because simply we are animals as well!!!we wouldent exsist.
Wildlife is part of the cycle of life. Think of it like this, every creature is important. If 1 were to disappear then there would to many of another kind of animal. Wildlife keeps the earth equal.
10,000,000,000,000,000 ants to 6,700,000,000 humans
Lions are predators and it would be completely ignorant to say that they cannot kill and eat a human. But normally lions do not eat humans instead prey on non-primate animals like zebra and wildebeest. However, given an opportunity and if they were hungry enough, absolutely!!
The Earth's ecosystem would completely dissipate, and humans would not be able to survive, because there would be no food whatsoever.
human life would be the same. but would meet a horrible fate if it were to ever disappear.
If the rainforest were to all disappear, life on earth would soon be extinguished as we know it. Much of the oxygen that humans and other animals need is produced by rainforests.
If th sun's gravity were to disappear, Earth would go off in a straight line into interstellar space.
no
If plants disappeared from earth, all life on earth depending on photosynthesis would disappear.
Humans? No. Any other animal or plant? No. A similar scenario would be going into space without a spacesuit on. All gases would leave the body and cause death. In addition to that, the UV proctection provided by atmosphere would disappear, and the surface of the earth would be sterile.
oxygen we would die, and say what ARE not what is!
If the sun would disappear from the centre of the solar system, there would be some reason for it to disappear or there is no other way that the sun can suddenly disappear from the centre. In other ways if there was no sun then there won't be any life on earth, nor there would be any source of light, there would be no heat in the solar system and the temperature of the planets would decrease innumerably, there would be no low tide on the earth or on any other planet, only high tide would be seen.
Well, lets look at it from two viewpoints: 1) The earth's atmosphere is not going to "disappear", hence that question is moot. 2) If the earths atmosphere somehow did disappear, it would have no effect on the moon's position in space as regards the earth.
If the moon was not in orbit around the Earth, the tilt of the Earth's axis with respect to the plane of the ecliptic would be unstable. As a result, seasons and climate would be unstable, and life as we know it on Earth would change or disappear.
The earth would be completely destroyed.
