He was in Halo odst, however, indirectly. If you have played Halo 2, you can see the ship (Amber Clad) in the first cutscene of Halo ODST, where the odsts were dropping, and the slip-space jump took place. Look at the right side of the covenant ship and you can see a really small UNSC ship; masterchief is in it. However, masterchief didn't participate in this game.

∙ 12y agoTechnicaly, yes. But he does not fight. In the Halo 3 Legendary ending John 117 (mastercheif) Goes into Suspended Animation. In halo reach an eater egg shows john 117 in the pillar of autumn In the same tube he went into suspended animation in.
