I believe that Teleportation is biggest Assignment so far reached by science.

Teleportation as a Quantum Computation

Teleportation is a Science of Fact not a Science Fiction Anymore

In literature the word teleportation was mentioned for the first time in 1931 in the nonfiction book named LO! (Wikipedia.) Written by the American writer Charles Fort. He combined the Greek word "Tele" that means distant and the Latin verb "Portare" that means to carry. Mr. Fort used this term to explain the strange disappearances and appearances of anomalies, which he suggested may be connected.

Teleportation since then became more than a term in use, but a dream to accomplish for the mankind. For Charles Fort the book LO! was his third published work (Wikipedia.), but it became the awaking of new challenges and perhaps new men horizons.

The term teleportation became very popular with the TV series Star Trek in 1966, created by the American screenwriter and producer Eugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry. But 1997 in Austria, a group of quantum physicists, directed by Professor Anton Zeilinger & Professor Francesco De Martini, for the very first time in history, teleported over the Danube River successfully disembodied a laser beam from one location and rebuilt it in a different spot. The distance cover was 600 meters. So far the same experiment has been performed from one Canneries Island to another reaching a distance of 100 miles (160,934 kilometers). The new record to achieve is to teleport to the space shuttle. Proving with this we are able to teleport in the vacuum of space. The team has published its findings in the academic journal Nature (Nature Physics Portal), This breakthrough has opened many windows to others ambitious in the field and today a large number of Universities have performed the same experiment with more improvements every time.

It is important to mention that without the quantum computer, that still developing. The success of teleportation experiments would be possible. Quantum Computation, it is the new way to isolate atom, improving the quality of a research on a single particle. The way how is transferred a quantum information is instantaneously to a distant object, by using "entanglement also called the quantum non-local connection, is a property of a quantum mechanical state of a system of two or more objects in which the quantum states of the constituting objects are linked together so that one object can no longer be adequately described without full mention of its counterpart-even if the individual objects are spatially separated in a space like manner" (Wikipedia). Which Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen pointed out was a feature of quantum mechanics.

Teleportation as a Quantum Computation is awaking a new nonfiction literature. And it is opening the appetite of a large number of researchers and scientists around the world.

The reason why I have chosen to investigate about teleportation, is because I believe that the already success on teleported photons from one place to another is a giant step, as it was when the man stepped on the moon. There are plans in the near future to teleport atoms, water molecule, DNA. Objects and finally human this probably will have to wait a bit. This discovery has opened the possibilities of resolving much uncertain answer in sciences. For instance space traveling. Interstellar trip to closest constellations as Alpha Centauri, that is 4.7 light year distance from Earth. The benefit for this new finding will carry us to the future dreamed for many and a challenge for others. The entire science world will take advantage from it. Imagine what the medicine can do with this new innovation. No to mention, the super Quantum Computers that, no to far from now, we will have in our Desk. Mathematicians will be able to calculate large number of operations, getting faster result and accuracy. Reverse-engineering of the human brain. The dematerialization of the DNA transferred it to another local, where is rematerialized. Perhaps, through the teleportation we will be able to dig the unknown deep secret of the Big Bang, the creation of the Universe. This wonderful breakthrough has been categorized as the biggest advance of the 21 century.

Why to know about it?

There are many features of the Science Fiction written by deep thinkers that there were not afraid to be call mad. Futurist's fantasies, dreams or perhaps the challenges that has let us made the impossible be possible. "From the Earth to the Moon", Julius Verne invented a trip never imagined, "The time machine" of H.G.Wells. I have heard Professor Stephen Hawking mentioned as a possible fact in the future. The Teleportation of Charles Fort. Gene Roddenberry and Star trek made us fantasize with interplanetary trips, using super technologies as web-cam communication, when that technology not even existed, but today already has been around, more than twenty years of history. Why it is worth to research about teleportation? Well, teleportation is not a science fiction term anymore; however is a fact as it is the man stepped in the Moon. I'm certain that teleportation will open many Scientific options. Eventually teleportation will growth from a single atom today, to it complicity stage. Unfortunately Charles Fort, he didn't have the chance to experience it. But we already are witnessing Fort's deepest thoughts.

All mankind inventions had started as a dream, so why not to continue dreaming And reach far frontiers?

How is dystopian science fiction different to other science fiction?

Dystopian science fiction often explores dark, oppressive societies where individuals face extreme hardships, focusing on themes of control, surveillance, and oppressive governments. In contrast, other science fiction may explore a range of speculative scenarios without focusing specifically on societies in decline or under duress. Ultimately, dystopian science fiction serves as a warning or commentary on societal issues, while other science fiction genres may explore more hopeful or exploratory themes.
