In the last two days I have watched 3 Disney movies that I got for my grandson. As I said in my previous post, I am glad he was not here to watch them with me and I had the chance to see them first. I watched Nightjohn which was a waste of money making other than to "remind" Blacks of where they once were (including Ruby Bridges). I am sure without good intentions.
I just watched the Princess and the Frog. What was racist about this movie? The movie starts with the little rich White girl, with the name Charlotte and the deep southern accent, living in a mansion. The little dark-skinned Black girl is the daughter of their seamstress. They show her mother and her leaving the rich white neighborhood to board the train to go to the poor side of town.
Skip, skip.... There are things in this movie no child should watch: evil, death, voodoo and of course the villain is Black. Skip, skip... she finds her Prince frog and after they are married and she becomes a Princess he is transformed to a Prince (with straight hair, not an Afro). So why does the movie not end there? It goes on to show "a Black Prince" buying a rundown building and transforming it, not into a palace, but into a NIGHTCLUB palace.
Disney, I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt with this movie, but once again, all I see is racism.
It is unknown if Walt was a racist, but it is rumored that Walt Disney was racist against Jews or anti-Semitic because of some Jewish stereotypes in the Cartoons he produced and joined the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals, an anti-Semitic and anti-Communist organization. However, it is known that Walt hired African Americans and Jews to work for his company.
What the heck is wrong with you? Of course not! It's just a cartoon, enjoy it as it is without name callings! And please stop being paranoic about racism. You're the kind of person that sees "racism everywhere, non-stop as if Hitler was still alive."
Obviously not.

Well, Walt Disney didn't because DVDs didn't exist in Disney's lifetime, however as to why The Walt Disney Company never released Song of the South to DVD is because it has been deemed racist & would be inappropriate by today's standards.
First of all this question is racist and barely any of the Disney stars are white most of them are Latina or Latino or African American but they do all races the only important thing is that you got talent and you can act and if they like you.
It depends on how one uses the term "white racist". To some, white racist is someone who is white and they are also racist. To others, however, a white racist is someone who is racist exclusively towards white people.
No, Gandhi was not racist.
No he was not a racist.
