Hi, I first heard this track as a child by the 'English Congregation' and I recall hearing at the time (probably on the radio) that the writer of the music was never known. Apparently, and I'm basing this all on memory, the music was just 'found' and nobody ever claimed ownership. I cannot recall with any certaintly if the lyrics were later added but I have a feeling that they possibly were. I will add that this is a vague recollection from a long time ago so it probably won't stand up in court, but it may help you find your answer.. good luck.
Correct about the artist. But the music and lyrics were composed by Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway and are wholly original.

I've heard that there are 4 groups in reference to classical music. 1. The 1st group which consists of about 5% of the population absolutely love classical music. 2. The 2nd group consists of those who don't mind listening to classical-Roughly 40% 3. The 3rd group which is about 30% of the population dislike classical music basically because they've never really listened to it...so they are ignorant. 4. The 4th group consists of those who hate classical music, for personal reasons, etc..-so roughly 15% of the population But i think everyone should love classical music. Without Classical, there wouldn't modern music. You should appreciate & respect Classical even if you don't like it.
in my opinion classical music is the best but im sure most people like music with words in it .._ Well, according to me, Classical Music is simply the best. I believe Classical Music is a base of all other Music. Listening to classical Music simply calms you & refreshes your mood. My best medicine whenever I am sad, depress, happy. I simply love to listen instruments of Indian Classical Music.
No Sure is. There are times when I tire of one or the other. I like to keep my music listening options open.
There are many professionals that study child development who agree music is important to young children, and suggest classical music is a good place to start. The Baby Einstein music series are a great way to introduce classical music, and they're available online and at a variety of regular stores.

i have a question for you...what do you consider a classical instrument??i dont think that instuments are necessarily classical because they changed and modified during many musical periods like the baroque, romantic or classical. anyway, if you consider the piano a "classical" instument, i love to play classical music because the technical stuff is fun. its kinda weird because i listen to rap, r&b and much of the modern music... hope that answers your question!!!
noise gives a negative feeling maybe sound? such as music, birds tweeting, children whispering, people walking, ocean waves, or falling leaves..
