There is no Saint Doris. However, the name probably derives from Dorothy and there was a Saint Dorothy. She was a virgin and martyr who was killed in the year 311 in Caesarea. Unfortunately, she was dropped from the Calendar of Saints in 1969 for lack of evidence that she existed.
St. Doris is not recognized as a saint in the Roman Catholic tradition or in most historical records. There is limited information about a Saint Doris in certain local folklore or traditions but no universally recognized saint by that name.
The possessive form of "Doris" is "Doris's" or "Doris'." Both are considered correct, but "Doris's" is more common in modern usage.
