Sometimes there is.
Check the fuse in the fuse panel. Also look and see if there is an inline fuse blown. I already checked the fuse panel and the fuse on the back of the radio. I don't know what the problem could be. The radio is not burnt because I replaced it and still no power. There may be another inline fuse somewhere between the fuse panel and the radio. Do you have power at the radio? I assume you do not. I would check, with a multimeter, where the radio power cable is connected at the fuse panel and see if you actually have power. If you do then you know that somewhere between that point and the radio you have a problem. As a last resort you could just run a new power cable to the radio from the fuse panel. Be sure to install an inline fuse if you do this. How do I run a new power cable to the radio from the fuse panel and install an in-line fuse?
More than likely has 2 fuses. One in the fuse panel and another inline fuse somewhere between the fuse panel and the radio on the red power wire.
run a wire from the battery to the radio with an inline fuse... or check ur fuses and see if its blown
A radio fuse might keep blowing if the radio itself needs an inline fuse in a 1997 Crown Victoria. It is possible that the radio and interior lights are not grounded properly. Installing an inline fuse between the radio and the fuse box may solve the problem of the fuse blowing.
at the fuse box. BUT if it is and after market radio. the installer often hooks a wire to a power sourse and has an inline fuse on the positive lead wire. So you will need to trace the positive lead wire back to the source and see if it has a inline fuse.
It is possible that there is a break in the wiring between the radio and the speakers. It is also possible that either a component or inline fuse is blown.
Which wire theres 2....... 12 volt all the time and 12 volt switched?
i did not think so, there is a fuse on fuse panel for dash and accessories. Now if someone has changed out the radio say from hi-fi buys they will put an inline fuse to the radio. In that case all bets are off.
theres and app for that!
if its the one in the radio tower then you cant but theres nothing there if its not him then go to the power plant and help fix the probolem there
Radio fuse or it may be a combination fuse controlling more than the radio. It can be listed as accessory, lighter, etc. The radio may also have an inline fuse not located in the fuse panel.
Theres a square power button on the right side of the front panel above the radio, called air vent.
