Yes, Eoin Colfer promised that he would make another book about Artemis Fowl, although Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox could be the latest book in the series for two years.
The one after the time paradox does not come out until July 20th.
The Time Paradox will be out very soon. It is rumored that it may be the last book in the series, although Colfer hasn't specifically said so. *It was originally released in America this July 2008, and was recently released in the Philippines. (more specifically this September)
Yes, it's called the Atlantis Complex. It is scheduled to be released in late July. It is to be released on July 20th, 2010.
Also according to the Barnes and Noble website "Artemis has committed his entire fortune to a project he believes will save the planet and its inhabitants, both human and fairy. Can it be true? Has goodness taken hold of the world's greatest teenage criminal mastermind?
Captain Holly Short is unconvinced, and discovers that Artemis is suffering from Atlantis Complex, a psychosis common among guilt-ridden fairies -- not humans -- and most likely triggered by Artemis's dabbling with fairy magic. Symptoms include obsessive-compulsive behavior, paranoia, multiple personality disorder and, in extreme cases, embarrassing professions of love to a certain feisty LEPrecon fairy.
Unfortunately, Atlantis Complex has struck at the worst possible time. A deadly foe from Holly's past is intent on destroying the actual city of Atlantis. Can Artemis escape the confines of his mind -- and the grips of a giant squid -- in time to save the underwater metropolis and its fairy inhabitants?" Several other spoilers say that Artemis is some how going to end up in prison. HI
The Atlantis Complex is the seventh in the series, and the latest (as of December 2010) but there are two graphic novels out as well as the Artemis Fowl Files, but it looks like that book isn't part of the official series, although it does have short stories and other guides that assist readers of the series. So, it depends on how you look at it. There are 10 books, but only 7 in the official series.
There are 8 books total in the Artemis Fowl series
-Artemis Fowl
-the arctic incident
-the eternity code
- the opal deception
-the lost colony
-the Time paradox
- the Atlantis complex
-the last guardian
After the Last guardian there will be no more.
That is possible, but very unlikely, as Eoin Colfer himself has stated that the 8th book (to be released in Summer 2012) will be the final book in the series.
Sadly, we do not have any idea if Eoin Colfer will write a 9th book but chances are: he wont.
there will be 8 and that's it
I don't think so
