I think so. In order for a country to declare war it must think that it has a legitimate reason to do so and it must think there is a chance it can succeed. The best way to prevent war is to make everyone else think they are "lesser than" and that it would be hopeless and frivolous to start a war. Intimidation and oppression can go a long way if done properly.

∙ 11y agoEveryone should be treated equally!People fight over resources,Nationalism,and religon. the beat way is to educate yourself,spread awareness all over.As a student i can direct programs in which consultants would be telling about the disadvantages of wars.All is that in our society some are rich while others are poor so they fight over many issues which may/or they cause wars.Instead of this we should resolve our issues or quarries in an organised way.We should do constructive work rather than doing distructive work.We should also understand and think deeply what causes war and organise a meeting in which, discuss about how to prevent future wars from happening.

The common denominator in wars is people. Remove the people --- no more wars.
Fail. Nice try my friend, but, in practice, the act of removing people is referred to as "ethnic cleansing" which is really a type of war so removing people probably isn't the right answer. There is currently a good argument for Nanotechnology to remove the threat of war. Some envision a future where clouds of nanorobots, so small they can rearrange things at the molecular level, can perform such feats as early detection of chemical or biological agents, eliminate the need for money, produce, food from sawdust or anything really, passive restraint in vehicles, etc. If resources were no longer scarce, and people didn't have to work for money, it is possible that war could be virtually eliminated as there would be little point.
