Sugar and caffeine are two different chemicals.

However, many caffeinated beverages contain sugar. Commercially-prepared sodas like Pepsi and Coke have a lot of sugar AND caffeine. Lattes made by chain stores contain copious amounts of both.

You can buy decaf drinks and sugar-free drinks if you so choose.

No, caffeine is not in sugar. It is in things with sugar but not in sugar it self.
