There will be some amount of continuity in a k30. There is a coil at the bottom of the antenna base, so the ohm reading will be high, but should still be there.
feed them lead feed them lead feed them lead
economical and the continuity of lead is very high
The antenna feed is connected to a lead in the passenger footwell, so can be disconnected without removing the head unit. The antennat motor and assembly is accessed through the passenger wheel arch, after removing the wheel and plastic cover.
remove center bezel and ignition lock cover and remove the 4 screws and unplug connectors and antenna lead in rear of radio
Did you disconnect the antenna lead?
You will need a tv antenna and a coaxial lead in wire with connectors.

the video feed isn't getting through (AV cable not inserted properly or faulty or incorrect cable being used). You must check for continuity in the wiring. You will need a voltage/continuity tester. place one lead at one end of the wiring and place the other at the opposite end of the wiring. If the continuity tester does not indicate a constant flow of continuity it will NOT light up or "sound off."
# Remove the center trim panel # Remove the radio mounting screws then pull the radio out of the instrument panel just far enough to access the electrical connectors and the antenna cable on the back of the unit # Disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna lead from the backside of the radio and remove the radio
Height, direction, antenna type and down lead are major factors in receiving a good TV signal to the TV set.
I have a similar problem with a kawasaki mower. it was running fine, emptied the catcher and wouldn't restart. Found plug fouled, no start with a new plug. removed coil, and with an ohm meter tested continuity of poles to each other, inconclusive. found a good coil from a different B&S mower and compared readings. Kawasaki had continuity with plug lead and center pole on pick-up, B&S did not. I assume the center pole is grounding out the plug lead, so I will replace the coil and see.
