While you can technically run PCSX2 on it, it is not powerful enough to provide even remotely good performance for most games. The PCSX2 team recommends at least a Core 2 Duo and a GeForce 8800.

Does directx 9.0 give you a virus?

If you download your version of DirectX from Microsoft, it will not contain a virus. Downloading from untrusted third-party sites may or may not be safe.

How do you uninstall directx 10?

Uninstalling DirectX 10 from Vista is impossible to my knowledge. Uninstalling the non-official DirectX 10 from XP is not. To so do, you'll need a computer that has whatever version you want to switch to, an uninstaller for 9.0 called UnDx9.bat, and an XP installation disc. Copy all the DirectX files listed by dxdiag from a computer with an earlier installed. 9.0c is confirmed to work. Override all DirectX files while in safe mode. Run a 9.0 uninstaller that replaces all your DirectX files from the Windows CD. It should replace your files with 8.1. Then replace the 8.1 files with the files copied from the other computer. Find the version number of DirectX for those files and find the registry values that the uninstaller adds to the registry. They should be in dxvfix.ini. Change the value for the version to whatever the version you're adding is. 4.09.0000.0904 is the number for 9.0c. Then run the latest updater for DirectX 9.0c and it should update some files. This should leave you with 9.0c.

Which is best programming for developing high quality 3d games?

C++ is the industry standard for game development. For Windows, you'll likely want to learn DirectX as well. DirectX is not a programming language, it is a 3D API.

How do you install PixelShader 1.1?

The pixelshader levels are built into DirectX. If you have the newest version of DirectX and still can't use PixelShader 1.1, then this means that your video card does not support it, and you will need to upgrade your video card. There is no other way around this.

Is there any good DirectX to OBJ converters Or X to 3DS?

yes there is good directx to obj converters or x to 3ds you can try fragmotion(shareware). fragmotion can also convert animation.Less then 65000 vertices supported you can try lithunwrap(it doesnot support animation.its free). less then 65000 vertices supported. you can use google sketchup to import as directx using free plugins. and then can export to any other format using plugin(free) you can use okino polytrans(not free) you can use 3d object converter(not free. i don't recommend it).

What is Shader Model 3.0?

Since the release of DirectX 8.0 graphics cards have used programs/instructions known as Shader Models to help interpret instructions on how to render graphics sent from the CPU to the graphic card. Many games are increasingly listing Shader Model versions in their system requirements. However these shader versions are tied to the version of DirectX that you have installed on your PC which is then in turn tied to your graphics card. This can make it difficult to determine if your system can handle a certain shader model or not.To determine the version of DirectX you have running:1. Click on the Start menu, then "Run".2. In the "Run" box type "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and click "Ok". This will open up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.3. In the System tab, listed under the "System Information" heading you should see a "DirectX Version" listed.4. Match your DirectX version with the Shader version listed below.Once you've determined the version of DirectX running on your PC you can use the below chart to determine what Shader Model version is supported. Please note DirectX versions prior to DirectX 8.0 do not support shader models• DirectX 8.0 - Shader Model 1.0 & 1.1• DirectX 8.0a - Shader Model 1.3• DirectX 8.1 - Shader Model 1.4• DirectX 9.0 - Shader Model 2.0• DirectX 9.0a - Shader Model 2.0a• DirectX 9.0b - Shader Model 2.0b• DirectX 9.0c - Shader Model 3.0• DirectX 10.0* - Shader Model 4.0• DirectX 10.1* - Shader Model 4.1• DirectX 11.0* - Shader Model 5.0*DirectX 10.0 and higher will not run in Windows XPOne recommendation prior to installing a newer version of DirectX is to ensure that your graphics card supports that version of DirectX.

Does Garry's Mod work with Intel graphics?

In theory garry's mod should work with an Intel integrated graphics chipset, but it depends how 'hungry' the game is for video memory. From my experience, gmod only pushes the graphics card when you have a lot of entities spawned or you're on a really large map. Below are the official system requirements for garry's mod (Steam Website):Minimum:OS: Windows® Vista/XP/2000Processor: 1.7 GHz ProcessorMemory: 512MB RAMGraphics: DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE)Hard Drive: 150 MBOther Requirements: Internet ConnectionRecommended:Processor: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better)Memory: 1GB RAMGraphics: DirectX® 9 level Graphics CardOnly mentions needing a DirectX 8.1 compatible chipset so should be ok.
