Just replaced EGR valve on 2001 Malibu Why do you keep getting a code for the valve?

in my exsperience egr valve code not usually the culprit try to clean all intake parts w/carb cleaner fuel inj cleaner may need to check fuel to air mix valve and remove and clean also clean butterfly valve for intake very well if thiis doesnt work repost tom and ill walk u thruogh the rest
Tom my question is on 1997 Ford exploer the code says insufficent flow to egr valve but replaced everything pertaining to egr system
