I think a Kodiak could pick up an alligator and chomp it right in the abdomen and that would be all of the alligator. On the other hand, the alligator, when picked up by the bear might snap around and take the bear's paw off rendering the bear helpless in controlling the alligator.

The Liger would win because of its resources to fighting. Believe it or not, the Liger can weigh in at 1200 pounds itself, while the Kodiak just looks more menacing in volume. But a liger is one bad mother - taking down water buffalo, tigers, lions, tigons, and other animals merely or twice its size - Ligers are a menacing predator. If a Polar Bear, Kodiak, and even Grizzly Bear engaged in battle with a Liger - the Liger would pullout victoriously.
