Depending on what year Focus you're driving there might be a recall or not for the leak. Check out driverside.com and plug in your year and trim to see if there are any recalls.
If not, take your car to a mechanic ASAP and have them replace your molding- you don't want the leaks to puddle up- the water damage will reduce the value of your car, and start to seriously stink it up fast!

I switched to full synthetic engine oil in 2001 and have no oil leaks on my 1995 Ford What makes you think you will have leaks? And if you think you will have leaks then why would you use synthetic? You will have no leaks that you would not have with conventional oil.
