Thanks for the feedback!
A phone with dual sim cards will have 2 imei numbers. This is so the phone can be connected to two networks at once. It can be out of range of one network and seamlessly switc…h to the other. Often this is a lot cheaper than roaming for someone who travels a lot.
No -- an iPod Touch does not have an IMEI number.
IMEI NUMBER FULL FORM
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 17 or 15 digit code used to identify an individual mobile station to a GSM or UMTS network. The IMEI number prov…ides an important function; it uniquely identifies a specific mobile phone being used on a mobile network. The IMEI is a useful tool to prevent a stolen handset from accessing a network and being used to place calls. Mobile phone owners who have their phones stolen can contact their mobile network provider and ask them disable a phone using its IMEI number. With an IMEI number, the phone can be blocked from the network quickly and easily.
How do find the phone number and name of a person using a particular Cingular cell phone if you have the SIM and IMEI numbers?
Answer No just look it up
The IMEI number is the serial number attached to your phone that shows what device you made calls from. Every phone has it's own IMEI number. It's usually located at the back …around the battery. It's a big long number. Everytime you make a call on your phone, it leaves what's called a digital footprint on your account. This digital footprint can be pulled up to show which device you made a call from, like in a case where you had a billing dispute or something.
You can supply your IMEI number to your cellular provider, and they can use it to see if that particular handset is currently being used. They probably would not be able to re…veal to you who's account it was linked to unless it was your account. To the best of my knowledge you cannot actually trace the physical location of a phone itself with just it's IMEI number, your cell provider can only use the IMEI number to bring up the cellular phone number that it's linked to.
You cant ! The IMEI number is unique to your handset !
Are you asking which is correct? Both are because the questions are asking 2 different things. You can either have his cell phone, or his cell phone number.
Your number can be found on the box that came with your iDevice. otherwise contact your network provider who might provide you with a code to get it from your handset.
Deletion not possible. Spoofing is.
No. A mobile (cell) phone number is not tied to a specific location - nor does it indicate a specific carrier.
IMEI number for a particular phone cannot be changed as far as I know...The number is given to it during its manufacture...Anyway,why would you want to change it...Its the onl…y thing that helps when the phone gets lost...
Type in the number in google and see what you find. Or, type in reverse cell phone lookup. It will usually give you the town, state, and cell phone carrier. Hope this helps!! …:)
use a reverse cell phone directory online.
To Find The Unique IMEI Number Of A Verizon Phone, Goto The Phone Keypad And Enter: "*#06#". The IMEI Number Should Be Displayed. Additionally Verizo…n is CDMA service provider and for such phones there is no IMEI, they use a Mobile equipment identifier (MEID) or Electronic serial numbers (ESN). Also... My Verizon fone goes to the recording that tells that *#06# is NOT a good number. jus sayin 8-) Keep on Smilin! Ron in Texas
