The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. Remove the contents of the glove box, detach the three catches--one on each side of the glove box and one on the extension rail on the right side of the glove box. Once these catches have been released, the glove box will extend further downward revealing the air filter tray up, behind the glove box.
Pull the tray out (you'll need to maneuver the tray until it is completely free). Once out, you can remove the paper filter from the tray housing, note the "air direction" markings on the currently installed filter, install a new filter of similar make (ensure the air flow markings are in the same direction).
Replace the air filter housing tray and reconnect the three clips. You're now able to replace the contents of the glove box and resume use of the air conditioner.
