Use the hanger to snag the keys and pull them through the window crack
i think you would have to use an unraveled coat hanger
If the window is open you can bend a coat hanger (or other wire) to lift the lock knobs. Otherwise I would hide an extra key on the outside of the car.
The tip of a coat-hanger could work if you did it right.
That's easy. Of course you can. But the trick is not a slim jim. It is a coat hanger. I locked my keys in my car once outside of my work place. So I took a coat hanger, brought it down towards the sliding lock mechanism itself, and then poked up and down until I figured out where the mechanism was. Then simply slide it to the left, try not push too much of the hanger in otherwise you won't have the necessary leverage and the hanger will bend.
If you have locked your car keys in your car, you can use a wire coat hanger to unlock your car door by forcing it through the key hole. Take the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) along with some ID (your license) to the dealership and they will make you a new key. No damage done this way.
It depends on the year, make, and model of the vehicle. Not all can be opened with a hanger. Some have relockers that will force the vehicle locked again. Calling a locksmith will keep you from damaging the vehicle if you decide to pry open the door and use a firm wire to activate door lock.
I locked my keys in my 1992 explorer and my boyfriend took a small wedge of wood and pryed the top of the door frame away from the frame. That allowed him to insert a coat hanger and with that he pushed the unlock button. wedge top of door open a little and get a metal coat hanger bent to reach button.
you can brake the window ... you can also put a hanger Thur the top of the window and try to reach the lock form the in side ... you can also get a slim Jim and slide it between the outside window and the door frame and pull the lock up...
